Great Summer Fun: Splash Pad

When I say that I love this place, I mean it. I really love this place. You might get a different response when you ask me again in July, and I am battling a 110 degree heat index...but for right now, the weather is perfect for some Splash Pad fun. You just can't beat a place with great kid entertainment for free, so I decided to give this place a try. The combination of a splash park and a playground all in the same place is such a great idea. Covered picnic tables make this the perfect place to spend the morning, followed by a brown bag lunch. Music Review: Mia Carruthers

I will be waiting by my laptop for this album to pop up on iTunes. For any of you that have been watching "Taking the Stage" on MTV, I am sure that you are as smitten with Mia Carruthers as I am. Now, I realize that I may be the only person over the age of 19 that is watching this show, but you know that I was bound to love any show that is 90% music and dance and 10% drama...what's not to love? In my humble opinion, Mia is a phenomenal singer, songwriter, and musician. I will keep you posted on a future release date. Enjoy!
